I have been going to Dr Mott for over 20 years. She is an excellent doctor. However, I see several comments about the receptionist. I have had some of the same issues with the wait time, scheduling of appointments, etc, however, this has more to do with Texas Children’s system and staff than the doctors. Dr Mott is very patient and cares about her patients. This is why I continue to go to her despite the service that I have had with the staff throughout the years.

I've been a patient of Dr Mott over 10 years now, she charge for everything. I just found out that I have a complex cyst on my ovarie and was told this yesterday,? What I was told that it has been there since 2021. Well damn when was I going to be informed. Less about the money more about your patients well being. I'm PISSED could have taken me out of here. Do better!!!

Very unprofessional staff. I had an appointment 9/3 drove over 45 minutes. When I arrived I sat there for an hour before they advised Dr. Mott went into a CSection and I could either wait 2 hours or reschedule. I had to ask was another Doctor available instead of me coming back which was an additional 30 minute wait. Virtual appointment was not an option. There was no consideration to my time or gas. I was then given a 5.00 voucher what a slap in the face as if my time is only worth 5.00 and parking was not covered because I parked in valet. Instead of talking to me they are talking to each other as if my concerns did not matter. Gossiping and disrespectful at its finest. When I asked for patient advocate number receptionist acted as if she didn’t know the number. Effective communication would have resolved it all instead of Charlotte getting smart and Ms. Reese not being knowledgeable of basic information. I’ve also been overcharged at this office and when I called to ask why they said the appointment had changed from a wellness visit to another visit without my consent or knowledge. I only discussed women needs with Dr. Mott so what made it a different appointment? It still have not been resolved and that was back in April/May 2024.

I absolutely love Dr. Mott and she’s been my doctor for decades!Thank you for keeping me on track all of these years. Continued luck and prosperity for you and your practice. Dr. Mott is well respected amongst her peers and nurses. She is very knowledgeable and has a ‘sweet matter of fact way’ about her. It’s all because she wants you to take your health seriously.

Dr. Mott has been my OB/GYN for 20+ years. She delivered my children. I am confident of her knowledge and experience on meeting my medical needs. Love her and her staff!

The receptionist was rude, the process is strange. Also, if you’re looking for an OBGYN, Dr. Mott’s uses intake forms and then look to see if she’ll or accept or deny you as a patient with no system of determine how you get denied so you could possibly be wasting your time (this is the receptionists words… not mine). You can’t just find out her availability when you call to schedule an appointment. It MAY have been worth the hassle if the receptionist acted like she had a care in the world about me but she didn’t and that’s telling. I won’t bother doing anything else with Dr. Mott’s and her team.

I found her by doing online research and was super excited to see what the Dr was all about. Oh well… I’m sure there’s an OBGYN out there for me starting with service, the process, to the doctor. Hope this is helpful.

Dr. Mott is a wonderful physician and she really cares about her patients. I know that she is extremely busy but she doesn't show that in the exam room. She takes her time and explains things in a way that I can understand, answers all my questions and even provides additional educational resources to ensure that I'm informed to make the best decisions about my health. I trust her completely with my health and well- being!

Dr. Mott is so amazing, and wonderful. She really cares, and will give you all the time in the exam room. She is so knowledgeable and a skilled artist in the OR. I had a high risk pregnancy and she’s hand down just the best in her field. Yes the wait time is long to see her. But there is no doubt she will be delivering all my babies. May God continue to bless you because you are a blessing on this earth.
