I’ve never been to a better gym, and I’m not sure if the Academy will ever be surpassed. I can’t recommend this place enough. I thought I knew how to exercise effectively before moving to Sacramento, but this gym put me in the best shape of my life and allowed me to develop habits I will carry forever. The trainer team and all the people sweating alongside me became my family in Sacramento, full stop. Bryan is the man; the type of trainer who produces results, not by being loud and demanding, but by motivating you quietly. All business, all results. Just go for it.

I have been a member for about three years and highly recommend The Academy. It is a great place to workout for anyone who is serious about fitness or wants to be in a motivating environment surrounded by others who are pushing themselves. The Academy has helped me stay in shape and dedicated because the challenging exercises are switched regularly to keep me engaged. I'm someone who tries to go 4-5x per week, which allows me to get a full body workout throughout the week. For a while though, I was subscribed to the 3x a week package so I could focus my efforts on particular muscles groups and conditioning days. That flexibility has been great and helped me improve my strength over time.

Been going over a year, seeing 2 different trainers, it's a basic warehouse with most everything for almost any workout, but not the fancy electro machinery. Everyone is focused, trainers have been highly engaged with her clients, haven't been to the classes but hear they're popular! No frills, but you'll still get results!

Best gym in the city! All trainers greet you with a smile and always ready to point out and help you during a workout session. My husband and I both truly enjoyed always changing and fun sessions. Got to know many people and it felt like working out with your friends and getting to laugh a lot.

This place is the place to go for all your fitness goals and needs! Trainers that KNOW how to help you achieve your personal goals. And you do this in a fun, friendly environment. The members encourage you to push harder! They miss you when you're gone. 50 YARDS of turf! They were THE FIRST to have 50 yards of turf. Now 24 hour fitness has their little area with turf.
Kettlebells, dumbbells, sleds, sliders, resistance bands, etc..you name it!

I tried this place 2 years ago and it’s amazing! The morning classes are intense. If you want to get in shape or get stronger you can do it here. All the trainers are very knowledgeable and update on evidence based training. Definitely recommend checking out the academy.

Why would I want to work out at a Gym where they put their members in Danger! They are open when they are supposed to be closed. No one is wearing a mask while working out. They are exposing people on the streets to Covid-19. Worst Gym Ever!
