This is my birth city although we moved to Philadelphia when I was about 3 or 4. There are some great places to eat and drink here. There are some cool stores and shops to browse through. My favorite spot is the Lansdale Tavern. Stove n Tap is good and a more adventurous choice as far as food selections. Round guys is another good option. Another interesting place is called The Archive for those people interested in books magazines and music. Housed in a large warehouse a great place for collectors and nostalgic types. It's a very interesting small town to visit.

It was a beautiful day at Lansdale day today. There were a lot of great crafters, artists, and food vendors. One of my favorites was Wolfhouse Imaginarium that had expertly Crafted items. There were two other artist creators that caught my attention, but unfortunately I don't recall their names. One created amazing sculptures by welding stainless steel flatware and other recycled steel items into extraordinary sculptures. The other converted pipe and plumbing components into very attractive lighting pieces.
The event has a very friendly atmosphere. The town is clean and welcoming.

Interesting historic building with new, fairly empty parking garage a distant walk from the station. The station waiting area is comfortable but the vendor has closed and no alternatives are present. While other stations on the line have converted to upper level platforms, Lansdale has not. I started using the 9th st station for that reason but the city and/or SEPTA has seen fit to remove most of the parking making that station unusable during the week unless you depart very early. Hopefully, SEPTA will install upper level platforms to the north end of the station; this would allow for much easier boarding and egress from the trains as well as a shorter Dwell time.

My go-to station when I take the train into the city. Lots of parking spots and a multi-story garage in the back of the lot. Plus, parking has been free since the start of the pandemic.

Lansdale train station is here, and Main street has some interesting stores to browse or shop. And if you're hungry for a quick meal or dinner, with a sip of wine or beer, you can be accommodated.

SEPTA Lansdale Train Station (Regional Rail): Ticket window needs longer hours. Station needs a bathroom accessible during all working hours. Traveling from Philly to Lansdale on the last trip for the night, is an hour + trip (which is a long time to hold it if you have to go). And when the train drops off at station there is nothing but a station house with a locked lobby with an unlocked bathroom inside. FML!

Many shops, traffic wasn't too busy during rush hour and food was amazing at MAIN st. Pizza!
