I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the incredible experience we had with Richard and his team at The K9 Training Academy. From our very first session, it was clear that they genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners. Our dog Luke has such a strong personality we were worried he would be to stubborn for any trainer. My German Shepherd Ares was 7 months old when he started to become aggressive towards strangers. I couldn’t control him with the little training we got at Petsmart (waste of time and money), so we had to do more.
We found the k9 training academy in Orlando and were amazed by the all the videos of the dogs they trained. The phone consultation was very informative and we can tell they were experts.
We are very happy with the outcome of the training we got after sending Ares to bootcamp for 6 weeks. It’s been real nice to be able to walk him without worrying.
We recommend this for everyone.

We knew immediately that when we get a dog, it’s going to the k9 training academy. They did not disappoint! We are going to follow all the instructions and take him through all the training courses.

Our Dog is even more amazing after his training! As a dog lover and a plastic surgeon who has treated way too many dog bites - obedience training was never a question. After meeting a very well trained standard golden doodle trained by K9 Training Academy, we decided to send ours. He came back a machine with 100 % recall and service dog training. Really impressive. He’s a great dog, 70 lbs, loves to play with other dogs and great with kittle kids. At the same time he is obedient on and off leash and a protective guard of our front door. Thanks Rick!

The K9 Training Academy was and keeps being the best dog training experience we have experienced. Our Doberman Magnate has done basic and advanced training with them and they have absolutely over delivered with the skills they have taught him. They continue educating us as well and always respond any questions we might have regarding training or just dog life in general. We’re definitely bringing him in for protection training soon! We had an exceptional experience at The K9 Training Academy. Our Dachshund, Lucy, had issues with leash pulling and basic commands. The trainers provided us with practical solutions and were very supportive throughout the process. Lucy is now walking nicely on the leash and responding well to commands. The academy’s positive, friendly atmosphere made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend their services!
