We took the 5 hour drive from our hometown to experience the Polar Express on Nov. 25, 2024 and would do it again in a heart beat! We rode in the first class car and the staff there was amazing! They were entertaining and enthusiastic the entire 1 hour trip. My twin 8 year olds were singing and dancing the whole time. If you get the chance, ride the Polar Express!

I was disappointed that all we saw was trees. Okay, there were a couple of goats. I took my grandson for his b'day (6 of us total) $348. Definitely not worth it. I gave 3 stars because everyone was very nice, the train was clean, and they were on schedule.

My grand babies loved EVERYTHING, about our little adventure. Before it was over, they were asking; "When can we come back"? Staff members were memorable & very attentive, giving outstanding service. Great communication with reservations & kudos towards the organization once customers arrived. Every process was clearly communicated & explained. Well maintained property & train. Complimentary snack was tasty & filling ?

We stopped by on a weekday to look at the site and take a few photos. Not much going on; no crowds of people while we were there. Walked around a bit before continuing on our journey.

Absolutely wonderful time at the Prom through the decades event. This was my first time on a train. It was wonderful. We rode in the presidential cart, with the wonderful Joyce as our guide. The event was both entertaining, and way better than my high school prom. ? hope to be back next year!

Car 9 was the best!!!!!! The polar express was even better than we expected. The people working on car 9 made the experience magical and so much fun 🙂 They were so engaging and had tons of energy! We are going back year after year because of them!

Wish they had more information about the Depot. Pretty cool, though.....and I think there's an excursion on an old train which stops here. Don't know ?......

This is a great place to spend an afternoon. I regret not taking more photos. The train and museum are interesting on their own, but the park and lake are beautiful. The day could not have been better. The Rusk Depot is far and away the most interesting of the two depots.
